CECA announces worldwide price increase for its Bitumen Additives.

CECA, a subsidiary of the ARKEMA Group, has been left with no option but to announce a worldwide increase in the sales price of its Bitumen Additives, effective 1st September 2008. This increase will affect road industry customers, and will range from 5 to 10% of the sales price depending on product type.
" Despite our European leading ranking, we can no longer continue to absorb raw material and energy costs. Passing on the price hikes we have been experiencing is a responsible approach to both our business and our customers in terms of being able to continue supplying the market with innovative additives " explains Guillaume LEGOUIS, Head of CECA's Bitumen Additives business.
