FEBEX’s THPC imparts highly beneficial fire-proofing properties to cotton and/or cellulose fibers, today primarily for technical clothing, e.g. workwear for the oil and chemical industries, hospitals (contact with electrical apparatus), and for flameproof clothing for children.
FEBEX’s product stands out in the market by its absence of colour, and is therefore in much demand for textile applications.
The company also offers a wide range of phosphine derivatives used in flame-retardants applications, above all a specific THPS grade that can be used in textiles from cotton to 50% cotton - 50% polyester.
