Several dressing structures are available, and their choice is determined essentially by the type of traffic and the condition of the support:

• Single surface dressing,
  •  for all traffic conditions normally including 6/10 aggregate.

• Single surface dressing with double chipping,
  • for heavy traffic

• Double surface dressing,
  • for heavy traffic and/or heterogeneous support

• Sandwich dressing,
  • similar to single surface dressing with double chipping.
