CECA relies on an extensive international base with 17 production sites. A proactive and reactive approach are the norm throughout our plants, most of which are ISO 9001 version 2000 accredited.

CECA has adopted the ISO 14001 standard for the recognition of its commitments to the environment at various sites.

Responsive care ® :

«Responsible Care»®, which CECA endorses as an Arkema subsidiary, is an international programme designed to improve the performance of the chemical industry in the areas of health, safety and the environment. Launched in Canada in 1985, « Responsible Care » has now been endorsed by signatory companies from over 40 countries.

This commitment to progress defines guiding principles and management practices to be implemented in process safety, environmental protection, health and safety at work, emergency measures, distribution, and product stewardship.

Factories attentive to their environment :

As part of its Common ground programme, CECA opens up its factories to the outside world. Through concertation and dialogue, we are committed to establishing lasting relations with our stakeholders (elected officials, the general public etc...).

Safety in action :

Because safety is also driving force to progress,  CECA invests a great deal of energy into its Safety in action programme. This ARKEMA management system helps us to enhance our safety performance, and, as such, is a priority. It involves our personnel evaluating the risks as well as improving their behaviour on a daily basis.
